THE Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) will be attending the latest Skegness Hospital Watch meeting tomorrow (Thursday) at 7pm to discuss its future healthcare plans.
The Trust, which manages Skegness Hospital and community health services in the area, is currently seeking public views as it works to become an NHS Foundation Trust from April 2013.
Foundation Trusts recruit members and governors to influence and scrutinise the organisation’s performance. This allows local people to have a say on the way their local community health services are delivered.
Dr Don White, Chairman for LCHS said: “There is still time to have your say on our plans to deliver services in the future as the consultation period ends on April 16.
“If local people cannot attend the Skegness meeting, please visit our website for more information or contact Patient Advice and Liaison Service,” they added.
The meeting is open to the public and is taking place at the Crown Hotel in Drummond Road, Skegness.
