Time is running out for residents in Burgh le Marsh to have their say on where the town council’s new office and meeting room should be.
The two preferred options are the former Post Office building in High Street, at an estimated cost of £165,000, and a renewable 30-year leasehold or a dedicated office and meeting room and office services provision within the approved new extension at Burgh Baptist Church in the Causeway, at an estimated cost of £25,000, plus a monthly rent of £200 to £300.
A ring-fenced fund has been set aside from the council precept to pay for it, with £2,000 set aside for 2016-17. The fund now stands at about £13,000.
