The magic of Harry Potter cast a spell on Year 7 students from King Edward VI Academy, Spilsby.

The group stepped onto the set at the Warner Bros Studio near London to see the making of the Harry Potter films. The students saw the scenes, used in the filming of the movies and saw how several of the shots were filmed. They were also to experienced some of the technology used, spent time in Hogwarts Great Hall and walked along Diagon Alley.

Head of Newton House, Susan Turner, said that the students were also given the opportunity to take part in a master class in film making at the studio which showed how the film developed from the initial concept to the final filming. The students stayed overnight in London and saw the sights of the capital before returning home.
