A whole day of fun, food, live music and fire safety tips will be part of an open day at Skegness Fire Station this week.
The event takes place on Thursday, July 25 from 10am until 4pm at the fire station in Churchill Avenue.
Visitors can meet Fireman Sam, see what it takes to be a firefighter, experience an inflatable smoke house or try their hand at spotting fire hazards, amongst other things.
There will be competitions with prizes, including a fancy dress competition, a treasure hunt, colouring competitions, a tombola and a raffle. Any proceeds made on the day will go to the Firefighters’ Charity.
Visitors will also be treated to a Spitfire flyover courtesy of RAF Coningsby and live music performed by local residents.
