Friskney Show is set to host its 10th annual event this coming weekend - and everything from flypasts to dog shows and from archery to classic cars are among the planned attractions.
The event, which is free to enter, will be held at Friskney Village Hall and Playing Field this Sunday, June 9 from 10am to 5pm.
The programme for the day gets underway slightly before 10am with the judging in the hall and poultry tent at 9.30am.
The event opens to the public at 10am with a ‘Have a Go Dog Agility’ session, followed by a performance by the Lisa Jay Stage Institute at 11am and Friskney Flames Cheerleaders at 11.30am.
At noon there’ll be a fun dog show, followed by another chance to catch the Lisa Jay Stage Institute at 12.30pm.
Singer Bob Garrett will entertain at 1pm, with shows from Friskney Flames Cheerleaders (1.30pm), Skegness County Liners (2pm), and Boston Belly Dancers (2.30pm).
A classic Dakota aircraft will flypast at 3pm and there’ll be party entertainment from 3.30pm onwards.
Other planned events are the cutting of the birthday cake at 4pm, presentation of prizes at 4.15pm and a grand raffle draw at 4.30pm.
Organisers stress that all times are approximate.
The day will also feature a poultry tent, classic cars, vintage tractors, archery, children’s rides, craft and food stalls, a Punch & Judy entertainer and a grand raffle with a £100 first prize.
