THE Environment Agency is looking for a new member for its Regional Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC) which covers Lincolnshire and is keen to hear from people wanting to join.
The committees play an important role in deciding local priorities for flood and coastal work.
They have a critical role supporting the Environment Agency and local authorities to work with communities to help bring in more funding.
The Environment Agency is looking for someone who would like to play a part in helping to develop plans to work closely with partners and communities. Applicants will ideally have experience of community engagement and empowering people to take action.
The new member will have a contact within the Environment Agency who they can work closely with to ensure they have a good understanding of the issues.
Members would be expected to attend four committee meetings per year and are able to claim expenses. Call Amy Inman on 01733 464389 for details.
