If you fancy a stroll along the beach on the lookout for wildlife, perhaos you would like to join a Coastal Country Park guided walk on Sunday, June 8.
Starting from Chapel Point car park in Chapel St Leonards the Coastal Country Park team will take you along part of the Chapel Point to Anderby Creek walk, where you can lookout for wildlife along the beach, in the dunes and out at sea, as well as taking a closer look at some of the nature reserves along the way.
Liz Fleuty, Project Development Officer said: “Recent wildlife highlights in the Coastal Country Park include dragonflies, green hairstreak butterfly and harbour porpoise, so if you’re interested in coastal wildlife this is the walk for you!”
Walkers should meet at 10am at Chapel Point car park; PE24 5UZ (charges apply).
Bring a packed lunch and appropriate footwear for walking along the beach, coastal and farmland footpaths.
The walk will last approximately three to three and a half hours.
