The children and staff from the Beacon Primary Academy, Skegness, celebrated the Harvest Festival in style.

Storehouse Church community manager Alan Bailey attended to take donated produce to the food bank to support local families. Parents were out in full force to support the event and the children enjoyed singing harvest songs, reading work they had prepared and sharing their fantastic artwork.

Teacher Miss Struggles said: “It took a lot of courage for our young children to stand up in front of so many people and share their learning and we were very proud of them all for doing this so well.”

Principal Corinna Wright said: “Our children really enjoyed learning more about the harvest season and were keen to work together to support people in our community. We would like to thank everyone who contributed and Mr Bailey for working with us on this project.”
