A children’s centre near Boston has been rated ‘outstanding’ by the Government’s education watchdog Ofsted.
The Tree House Children’s Centre in East Kirkby was praised for its ‘high standards’ and awarded the highest mark in all four keys areas.
Jane Robinson, manager of The Tree House, said: “We are very proud of having achieved our second outstanding grade in four years.
“This just shows what can be achieved with hard work, determination and fantastic team work.”
Following the inspection in November, the Ofsted report stated: “Teaching is consistently of a high quality. Staff develop learning opportunities through children’s interests and explorations.
“Children are animated and enthusiastic towards their learning.
The inspector said the children’s behaviour was ‘exemplary’ and staff were praised for being ‘highly-motivated’ with a continuous drive for improvement.
The active committee was also mentioned for ‘sharing the manager’s vision for achieving high standards’.
Facilities at the centre were said to offer children ‘a rich and vibrant environment in which to play and explore’.
