ASSAULT courses, murder mystery and debating were all features of the years nine and ten thematic day at Alford’s John Spendluffe Technology College recently.

The event, which took place just before the start of the summer holidays, saw all pupils go ‘off timetable’ to take part.

Endeavour pupils worked with Science, MFL and PE and had to research scientific discoveries. Enterprise pupils tried to solve the mystery of ‘who did away with Maz’ by going round to see their Maths, Drama and ICT teachers in role and disguise.

Discovery pupils spent their day researching, designing and then debating for a new building.
