MATHS and science can be fun as well as educational as parents and pupils at Partney Primary School discovered during a day of interesting activities and experiments.
Through the magic of science, the children were able to make erupting volcanoes, cornflour custard and other exciting creations.
Head teacher Caron Ementon said: “It was a really good, we invited parents along so we could show them some of the fun things we do.
“We wanted them to be able to be able to do some of the fun things at home with the children to promote maths and science. It also helped to break down some of the barriers because parents can be a bit nervous about helping children with their home work.”
Older pupils from Skegness Academy also came to take part in the fun educational activities, involving memory games, guessing games and other party tricks.
