SOME of the children from Little Treasures day nursery in Skegness took part in a sponsored police car wash last week.

PCSO Michelle Collins brought the car to the nursery for the children to wash.

The children, who are aged between three and five years, were sponsored to wash the police car to help fund their leavers party, as they will be leaving Little Treasures to start reception at local schools in September.

The children have chosen to go to Kids’ World and to have a picnic on the beach for their party.

The rest of the sponsorship money will be given to the special care baby unit at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
