Students and staff of Skegness Vocational College were joined by local dignitaries last week for an awards night and presentation in The Storehouse on North Parade, Skegness.

A number of students were honoured. The list of prizewinners is as follows:-

Melvyn Moffatt Shield for hairdressing student who has shown dedication and commitment to their course - Natasha Sharpe; Skegness College Development Shield to student who has shown most development in any area of training - Rebeka Hecz; Boston United Shield for 14-16 Curriculum presented to a learner who has shown progression in their studies - Crystal Stewart; Beaus’ and the Hairnet Award to Teresa Faye.

Other awards - Foundation Hairdressing - Teresa Mason; Hairdressing Level 2 - Lyndsey Poole; Hairdressing Level 3 - Christina Dale; Hairdressing Award for Work-based learning - Ellyce Warren; Beauty Therapy Level 2 - Tracy Adams; Beauty Therapy Level 3 - Tammy Wigner; Award for course specialising in Life Skills - Richard Simpson; Progression in Hairdressing - Katie Wright; Progression in Beauty - Molly-Mae Purfield; Progression Prize - Linzi Beard.
