Year two pupils from the Skegness Infant Academy and Year three pupils from the Skegness Junior Academy visited Butlin’s last week.

The pupils have taken part in a series of sporting events over a three week period, including a parents’ sports afternoon, and the Butlin’s trip was the final leg of the journey.

The day was packed with activities and the sports coaches from Butlin’s made it a day to remember for the youngsters.

Pupils experienced the climbing wall, archery, laser quest, kick cricket, frisbee on the beach and the fantastic indoor and outdoor play areas that Butlin’s has to offer.

The event was one of several being held for year two and three pupils with the aim of ‘easing the transition from the Infant Academy to the Junior Academy’.
