Business students set out their stall

Budding entepreneurs will be heading to The Hildreds Shopping Centre in Skegness on Friday to put their business skills in to practice.

A student team from The Giles Academy at Old Leake are participating in the ‘Young Enterprise Scheme’ as part of their business course and will take a stall selling portable phone charges to shoppers in time for Christmas.

Student Matthew Ford said: “Our company is called ‘Who Are We?’ and we sell portable phone chargers in many colours. We are very grateful to The Hildreds for giving us the opportunity to come in to the centre and sell our products. It will be a great business experience for everyone involved.”

Centre manager, Steve Andrews, said: “We are happy to lend any help, support and experience we have to make this venture a success for the students. It will be a great way for us to show the students that The Hildreds is more than just a shopping centre and how we form a vital part of the community in Skegness.”
