Alford school applies for LEGO science resources; looking for public support

Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Alford has applied to receive LEGO MINDSTORMS resources for its STEM Club.

The STEM Club is run as an after-school activity for students with a particular interest and ability in science, technology, engineering and maths.

For the entry students had to produce a 500 word written entry and a short entry video.

Comments of support are taken into account when judging.

These resources will enable the students to build programmable robots and they give young people the opportunity to develop their engineering skills.
