A charity fun day, raising funds to help a severely disabled Skegness man to become more independent, is taking place this Easter.
Steven Huckle and his parents have organised a day of fun and games for all the family at the The Ship in Skegness on Easter Sunday, March 31, to fund a standing wheelchair, to help him walk again.
Local businesses and individuals have given generously, raising more than £2,000 for the £10,000 equipment, but Steven’s mum Dorothy hopes more will offer raffle prizes for the Easter fun day.
She said: “We’ve already received lots of tickets to local attractions like Fantasy Island, Natureland and the Tower Cinema but we are hoping for more donations for the raffle competition.
“This is all so Steven can have a life of his own rather than being dependent on those around him.”
The event, which runs from noon till late, will feature a range of games for children and adults, a raffle and entertainment
If you have a prize to donate, contact the Huckles on 01754 767379.
