Skegness Round Table has presented more than £1,000 to a life-saving emergency medical charity following its latest golf day fundraiser.
In all, some £1,300 was donated to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance by the organisation, which every year holds a golf day in aid of the charity.
Mel Parris, community fundraiser for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, said: “The support we get from Skegness Round Table every year is fantastic. We’re really grateful for their continual fundraising efforts.”
The air ambulance needs to raise £1.9 million every year to keep the helicopter flying and saving lives everyday.
