Derbyshire: Fire and Rescue Service announce strike dates

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service has announced the dates that Fire Brigades Union (FBU) members will take further strike action on.

Members will walk out for eight consecutive days over an on-going dispute with the Government over pensions.

The strikes will take place on the following dates and times:

Saturday 9th August from noon-2pm and 10.59pm-11.59pm.

Sunday 10th August from noon-2pm and 10.59pm-11.59pm.

Monday 11th August from noon-2pm and 10.59pm-11.59pm.

Tuesday 12th August from noon-2pm and 10.59pm-11.59pm.

Wednesday 13th August from noon-2pm and 10.59pm-11.59pm.

Thursday 14th August from noon-2pm and 10.59pm-11.59pm.

Friday 15th August from noon-2pm and 10.59pm-11.59pm.

Saturday 16th August from noon-2pm and 10.59pm-11.59pm

During the strike, the fire service will continue to provide an emergency response service, albeit at a reduced level.
