A donation has been made to Skegness Day Centre in memory of a former founder.
A cheque for £205.20 was presented to the charity in tribute to Ted Beverley, who sadly recently passed away, by his wife Sylvia.
Day centre manager Mandy Hayes said: “The money will be spent directly on the clients who attend the Skegness Day Centre.”
She added: “Sylvia worked as a volunteer for the centre and has been a keen supporter for many years.”
Sylvia is pictured presenting the cheque to day centre chairman Mike Allen alongside, from left, John Beverley, Sue Smith and Jenny Beverley.
The day centre, in Dorothy Avenue, celebrates it 30th anniversary this year.
It provides care for an average of 45 people every day, offering social activities, meals, exercise and specialist services.
Anyone interested in helping as a volunteer should call 01754 766763 or call in and speak to Mandy.
