Crunch meeting in Skegness on EU vote

A crunch meeting on the EU referendum will be held in Skegness this month.

The meeting will be held in the St Edmund Suite of the Crown Hotel in Drummond Road, on Monday, from 7pm.

I am keen to hear the views and concerns of the residents and answer their questions about policing in Lincolnshire.

Speakers will be Derek Clark, MEP for Lincolnshire from 2004 to 2014, Victoria Ayling UKIP PCC for Lincolnshire and Margot Parker, current MEP for Lincolnshire.

A question and answer session will follow.

Victoria Ayling said: “I am keen to hear the views and concerns of the residents and answer their questions about policing in Lincolnshire.

“It is important residents should have the best possible policing, so that they feel safe and are actually safer.”

Margot Parker said: “I’m delighted to have been invited to speak at the meeting and to help outline just why Britain would be better off out of the EU.”

The meeting is open to the public and admission is free.

l Meanwhile, organisers of a second referendum Go (Grassroots Out) Event held in Lumley Road, Skegness, on Saturday say it had a good turn-out, with almost 1,500 batches of information handed out.
