Youths assault man in mobility scooter in Skegness’s Tower Gardens

Police Constable Kate Woods of Skegness and Wainfleet has reported an assault taking place this evening (Sunday, June 8) in the Tower Gardens, Skegness

Police were called to an incident in the park where a male on a blue mobility scooter was assaulted by three teenage boys.

The victim was in Tower Gardens at around 6.45pm and it is between this time and 7pm that the incident occurred near to the steps leading onto Grand Parade.

Police say, the boys were ‘messing’ around together in the park some time before.

The first youth is described as a white male, around 10-14 years old with a red football t-shirt, riding a white BMX.

The second, a white male, around 10-14yrs old, wearing a dark coloured football top with blonde hair and a light coloured BMX.

The third, also a white male, around 10-14 years old was wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans, riding a mountain bike.
