Verbal abuse between Winthorpe beach area and Skegness Pier sparks police appeal

Police have appealed for information after receiving “a number of reports” of a man being verbally abusive to members of the public on the Skegness and Winthorpe sea fronts.

The man is described as being in his early 30s, white, with fair balding hair, is of a medium build and usually wears a bright blue or grey hooded jacket, jeans and training shoes.

PCSO Dave Bunker said: “We have received a number of reports of a male being verbally abusive towards them in the area of the beach between Winthorpe and the pier in Skegness.

“We appeal for anyone who can help us with our enquiries to contact us on 101.”
