Three dogs stolen from kennels at property in Orby; second theft of dogs from site in three weeks

Police are appealing for information after the theft of dogs from a property in Orby, near Skegness.

Between 3.30pm on Monday, January 6 and 8am the following morning, the offender entered the premises on Holmfield Lane, Orby, and removed three dogs from kennels.

The dogs are a male fawn coloured Lurcher/Saluki cross with long ears, a Chihauha/Jack Russell cross bitch which is microchipped and a 12-week-old Lurcher puppy.

Also stolen were bags of dog food, a hedge trimmer and a generator.

The theft comes just under three after another incident at the same address when seven 10-week-old Lurcher puppies were stolen.

The owner is offering a £500 reward to anyone with information leading to the return of the animals.

Anyone with information regarding either theft should contact PC Phil Mawdsley by dialling 101. You shoudl quote ‘incident 211 of December 18’ if it’s regarding the theft of seven puppies and ‘incident 113 of January 7’ if you call concerns the latest theft of three dogs,
