Spilsby pensioner ‘very shaken’ after unprovoked assault on his doorstep

An old age pensioner in Spilsby was left ‘very shaken’ after being punched in the face on his own doorstep in an unprovoked attack.

The 66-year-old man was assaulted outside hi home on Boston Road at around 12.15am on Wedensday June 19.

“This was an unprovoked attack that left the victim very shaken,” said PC Dave Elridge, from Horncastle Police Station.

“We are keen to locate he offender as quickly as possible and appeal to anyone with information about his identity.

The offender has been described as a white male, aged between 15 and 16, of slim build.

He had short fair hair and was about five foot ten inches tall, wearing a white T-shire, beige trousers and white trainers.

Two girls of a similar age were reported seen with him at the time. They were also white, slim and about five foot seven or eight with dark shoulder length hair, wearing dark tops and trousers.
