Police in Skegness have urged farmers to beware anyone offering tractor weights at unusually low prices after a number of them were stolen from the Ulceby Cross area.

The weights were branded with the manufacturer’s name of ‘Claas’ and were a mixture of 36kg and 50kg weights.

“I would like to make the local farming community aware as these weights may be offered for sale at unusually low prices or by persons who seem out of character to be selling such items,” said PC Andrew Price.

“If anyone has any information or thinks they may have been offered the weights for sale please contact Lincolnshire Police via 101, quoting crime number 32130028098 if possible,” he added.
