Skegness distraction burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses following a distraction burglary in Skegness.

The incident took place mid to late afternoon on Thursday, June 26 in Kennedy Avenue.

The occupant was distracted by a man who came to the door asking for directions to Fantasy Island.

Whilst speaking to him, another person entered her home through a rear door stealing a handbag and jewellery.

The door-knocker is described as a slow speaking, white, in his 20s, around 5ft6 tall and medium build. He had dark hair, scruffy stubble, and was wearing dark clothing. He was seen knocking on other doors in the area and thought to have a dark hatchback car.
