Seventh person arrested following anti-social behaviour incident in Horncastle

A seventh person has been arrested following an outbreak of anti-social behaviour in Horncastle last Wednesday night (April 22).

Police initially confirmed six people had been arrested in connection with the incident - a 27-year-old woman, four men aged 33, 38, 34, 24 and a 16-year-old boy.

The News can reveal a 24 year old man has also been arrested.

Police have confirmed all seven have been released on bail with conditions, pending further investigations.

Officers have renewed their appeal for witnesses following a report that items including a glass bottle were thrown from a window of a property at the Bull Ring.

Police attended an address shortly after 6.30pm on Wednesday, April 22.

Inspector Sarah Constantine said: “We would like reassure residents that we take issues like this very seriously regardless of the current situation.

“If anyone can assist us with our investigation please contact us.”

Police added: “We would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at around the time of this incident.”
