Police in Skegness have appealed for information after a satellite dish was stolen from an address in the town.

The theft occurred in the Rutland Road area of Skegness overnight between January 23 and 24.

“The satellite was low down on the wall,” said police. “If you have a dish which is low down, consider moving it higher up if possible to move it out of reach.

“This appeared to be an isolated incident but we would continue to advise local residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious people or vehicles via 101 or 999 as appropriate,” they added.
