Police warning after cash and items were stolen in Skegness burglary while occupants were sleeping

Police are warning of the dangers of sleeping with open windows after burglars entered a caravan above where the occupants were sleeping and stole cash and other items.

The incident took place between 11.30pm on June 19 and 8.30am on June 20 at Promenade Caravan Park on Roman Bank and police say it left the occupants very distressed.

Cash, ID cards, cigarettes, headphones and a key were stolen.
