Police investigating allegation of assault on 14-year-old boy in Skegness toilets

Police are investigating an allegation of assault that is said to have occurred in the public toilets in Lumley Square, Skegness.

A police spokesman said: “A 14-year-old boy entered the male toilets shortly after 4.30pm and an incident occurred involving a man already inside. The man is described as being in his 60s and wearing a bright orange T-shirt. The victim was shocked but uninjured.”

Det Con Gail Hurley is particularly keen to trace a man who was using the urinal at the time, and who may be an important witness to the incident.

The incident is said to have occurred on Friday, August 1. Police have only released details today (Sunday).
