Police appeal over vehicle damage


Police in the Skegness area have appealed for information after a vehicle parked in a Winthorpe street was vandalised.

Sometime between 5pm on Monday (October 28) and 9am on Tuesday unknown offender(s) have approached a vehicle parked in the Queens Drive area of Winthorpe and damaged both the near-side and off-side wing mirrors.

“We appeal to anyone who can assist us to identify the offender(s) to contact us on 101 quoting ‘incident number 142 of October 29,” said PCSO Dave Bunker.

“There have been a number of reports of damage to vehicles recently in the Winthorpe area.

“Anti-social behaviour cannot be resolved without the help and involvement of the local community.

“If you witness any anti-social behaviour please call Lincolnshire Police as soon as possible on 101 and where possible provide descriptions of any offenders,” he added.
