Police appeal after van stolen and burnt out

Police have appealed for information after a commercial burglary and lorry theft in Croft earlier this month.

Sometime between 2.30pm on Tuesday, October 15 and 10am the following morning an offender gained entry to a plant nursery on Church Lane by snapping a padlock.

They then entered the office area before stealing a white 18 tonne Man box van with a tail lift. The vehicle was later found burnt out near Alford.

Police only issued the appeal this morning (October 30th).

Anyone with information should contact DC Emily Wooll-Rivers at Skegness CID by dialling 101 and quoting ‘incident number 98 of October 16’.
