Police have appealed for information after several power tools were stolen from the back of a Ford Transit van in Skegness overnight last night (Wednesday/Thursday).

The tools were taken after a white Ford Transit was broken into on Cottesmore Close sometime between 10.30pm on Wednesday and 7am this morning.

“Several power tools were taken including a drill, batteries, a battery charger, a Dewalt jigsaw, a Dewalt router, a Dewalt circular saw, a SDS Dewalt drill and a Black and Decker power saw,” said a police spokesperson.

“All the power tools had smart water on them and ‘MILKY’ written on them in black marker pen, which should make them stand out to anyone who comes across this stolen property.”

Police are urging anyone with information to call 101 quoting ‘incident 28 of March 28’ or call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
