Police appeal after man suffers broken eye socket in Skegness pub assault

POLICE in Skegness have appealed for information after an assault in Wolfie’s Bar on Sunday left a man with a broken eye socket.

The assault at the popular bar on South Parade took place at around 11.30pm on June 3.

“A 33-year-old man was assaulted whilst in the bar by a man who was with a group of other men,” said a police spokesperson.

“An altercation took place and the victim sustained injuries to his face. He was taken to Boston’s Pilgrim hospital where he received treatment for a broken eye socket.

“Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who knows who was involved in the assault,” they added.
