Person reported attempting entry at burgled Wainfleet home

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Wainfleet in which someone is believed to have attempted to gain entry to a house.

The incident is said to have taken place shortly after 11am yesterday (Thursday) on the Queens Estate.

Det Con Emily Wooll-Rivers, of Skegness CID, said: “Although entry was not gained on this occasion, it follows a previous burglary at the address around 10pm on Wednesday, February 18.”

Anyone who has seen suspicious activity or vehicles in the area, or who has any information, is asked to contact Det Con Wooll-Rivers on 101, quoting the incident number 136.
