A 29-year-old man from Ipswich pleaded guilty to producing 92 cannabis plants at a Burgh Le Marsh address at Skegness Magistrates’ Court, last Tuesday.
Mr Michael Bridger of Fishponds Lane, Holbrook, Ipswich, Suffolk, was charged with producing controlled drugs of class B after being found with 92 cannabis plants on August 8 of last year.
Prosecuting, Joyce Martin told the court, a police visit to a tenanted address in Burgh le Marsh, revealed the 92 plants with a yield of £10 per gram and the potential of making an estimated £7,870 in total.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction because the offence was ‘so serious’ and Bridger was committed to Lincoln Crown Court.
Bridger was granted unconditional bail.
