Man admits ‘inflicting grievous bodily harm’ at Skegness Café

A man today (Thursday) admitted carrying out two serious assaults during an incident in Skegness.

Anthony Russell, 22, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty at Lincoln Crown Court to inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent to Christopher Huddlestone on July 3 this year.

He also admitted wounding Joshua Hall with intent to do him grievous bodily harm on the same date.

The charges follow an incident at the New Imperial Café, in Lumley Road, Skegness, on Friday, July 3.

Russell, who appeared in court via video link, was remanded in custody to appear back in court for sentence in December.
