Girl, 16, arrested after bowls club windows smashed

A 16-year-old girl has been arrested in Skegness on suspicion of criminal damage at a bowls club.

Officers were called to the bowls club on South Parade shortly before 7pm last night (Wednesday) following reports that someone was smashing windows at the premises.

“A 16 year-old local girl was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assaulting police and was taken to Skegness custody,” said a police spokesperson.

“Any witnesses to the incident should contact Lincolnshire Police by dialling 101 and quoting ‘incident number 291 of September 18’,” they added.
