Four Skegness men arrested over Lincoln assault

Four men from Skegness have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and are in police custody today (Wednesday) following an assault on Lincoln High Street.

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in the early hours of this morning.

A spokesman said the incident was reported at 3.37am and is thought to have happened on the High Street close to Carluccio’s restaurant.

The injured man, a 21-year-old, from Lincoln, has been taken to Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment for a head injury.

The arrested men, two aged 20 and two aged 22, will be interviewed in due course.

Police are currently on the scene as investigations continue this morning.
