The Skegness Crime Prevention Panel held a security-based competition during the week that they occupied a shop courtesy of the Hildreds Centre Skegness.
The competition required entrants to select the correct lock etc. to be placed on a drawing of a typical dwelling.
The winner, Mr Baker from Horncastle, was drawn from the very few correct entries.
He was presented with the prize of an alarm system by the Mayor of Skegness Cllr Jim Carpenter at the Hildreds Centre, accompanied by the Mayoress Kath Carpenter and some of the members of the Panel, Chairman Mrs Mavis East, Rebecca Cram and Robin Cram.
Robin said: “The main aim of the panel is to provide free help and advice for our residents and businesses in order for them to provide effective security.
“And without the support like that given by the Hildreds’ anagement we could not achieve half as much as we do,” he added.
The Crime Prevention Panel also took the opportunity to launch and introduce a brand new way to contact the Panel direct. You can get in touch by telephone or text on 0794 300 2626 or by email at email@example.com.
