A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences following a caravan burglary in Ingoldmells.
The owner of a caravan on Roman Bank reported it had been burgled and his car, a yellow VW Beetle, stolen shortly before midnight on Friday (May 8),
The car was stopped in the early hours of Saturday and the occupants arrested.
A 28 year-old Leicestershire man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, taking a vehicle without consent, driving whilst over the alcohol limit, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, and possession of a class B drug.
A 31 year-old Leicestershire woman was arrested on suspicion of burglary, taking a vehicle without consent, and possession of a class B drug.
The pair have been bailed until June 23 to allow the investigation to continue.
Anyone with information, or who saw the VW Beetle being driven between Ingoldmells and Kirton, near Boston, should call Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 438 of May 8.
