PHENOMENAL changes have taken place in Lincolnshire Police, Skegness’s inspector Terry Ball has announced.

Speaking at the latest Skegness Town Council meeting Insp Ball explained that the force’s new partnership with private securty firm G4S had been ‘seamless’.

He said: “The service that people are getting from our back room facilities will be business as usual - it just looks a little different.”

G4S has taken over services including HR, IT and finance throughout Lincolnshire in a move thought to be the biggest single transfer of police staff to a private company ever.
