Caravan severely damaged in Ingoldmells arson attack

A CARAVAN in Ingoldmells has been severely damaged after an arson attack in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Two fire engines from Skegness and one from Alford were called to the Laver Leisure at Ingoldmells Point at 0.47am on Sunday.

The blaze caused severe damage to the lounge carpet. There was also severe heat damage to the rest of the lounge and kitchen area, and severe smoke damage to 100 per cent of the caravan’s interior.

Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel were used to extinguish the fire.

No-one was hurt in the blaze, which fire crews have confirmed was deliberate.
