CHILDREN at a local primary school were ‘deeply upset’ after two of their cherished toys were stolen by callous crooks.

Thieves broke into Seathorne Primary School sometime during half-term week between February 10 and 20 and stole two ride-on toys.

An interim head teacher at the school said: “The children were deeply upset to find that their toys had been taken.”

Police have appealed for anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of the yellow and blue ‘Didicar’ (similar to the model pictured).

The robust toys are specially designed to be useable by children of all abilities, which has made them incredibly popular among schools.
