Police investigating an allegation of assault in the public toilets in Lumley Square, Skegness, have made an arrest.

A police spokesman confirmed today (Tuesday) that a 68-year-old man had been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.

A spokesman earlier said a 14-year-old boy entered the male toilets shortly after 4.30pm on the day in question and an incident is reported to have occurred involving a man already inside.

The incident is said to have occurred on Friday, August 1.

Police released details on Sunday.
