AT 5pm on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Council received a nomination for the Pier Field site in Skegness to be registered as an Asset of Community Value.
The nomination is from the Save the Foreshore Group.
By law the District Council now has up to eight weeks to consider the nomination.
As a result of this nomination, the Council’s Executive Board will now not be considering the sale of Pier Field when it meets this morning.
Premier inn had previously expressed an interest in building a hotel on the site.
