A SKEGNESS coffee shop has handed over a cheque for more than £130 to Children In Need after it counted up the money it raised in last month’s fundraiser.
Staff at the Coffee Bean in the High Street raised the money by wearing pyjamas and also through a two-day collection tin on their counter. Customers had to guess the name of a teddy bear. The winner was Barbara T. During the course of the collection the coffee shop raised £134.63p.
Meanwhile, the coffee shop has launched a new menu of delicious made-to-order soups for over the winter months.
The soups include spring vegetable, tomato and basil, leek and potato, and more.
