Clocks go back as British Summer Time ends

Did you remember to put your clocks back an hour last night?

British Summer Time came to an end in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).

All clocks should have been put back one hour to bring them in line with Grenwich Mean Time for the winter months.

Menahwhile, Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue has urged the public to use the switch over as a good chance to test smoke alarms.

“You might have changed your clocks last night but did you test your smoke alarms? Test them today,” a spokesperson said.

Fire alarms should be tested on a regular basis.
