Clare Allen has been appointed the new principal of the Embassy Theatre Academy in Skegness

Best known as a performer, choreographer and producer, Clare has participated in local and professional shows. 

She trained at the Janice Sutton Theatre School in Skegness and continued her studies in London graduating with a degree in performing arts and music and a post 16 teaching qualification. 

Returning to Lincolnshire, Clare was appointed performing arts lecturer in a specialist further education college and has been teaching at the AJ Dance School in Boston.

A spokesman said: “Clare is enthusiastic about working with the young people of Skegness and providing them with fun quality training and performing opportunities. 

“She is thrilled to be taking on the role of principal of the Embassy Theatre Academy and looks forward to meeting existing and new students at the Embassy Theatre Academy enrolment day.”  

The ETA provides high quality training and performing opportunities for children between the ages of three to 19, in musical theatre, singing and dance.   Enrolment day, with the opportunity to meet the new principal, takes place on Saturday (August 29) at the Embassy Theatre Arts Room, with free taster sessions as follows:

9.30am – 10am : Little Stars – A new group for three to six year olds

10am – 11am : ETA Juniors – seven to 12 year olds

11am – Noon : ETA Seniors – 13 to 19 year olds
